Sighting scope
Hi, I got to shoot my ibex last night and been shooting all day today. I been shooting at 20 yards and got it sighted in perfect on the crosshairs at 20 yards. Well I moved it out to 30 yards and it is now shooting low around the 40 yard dot on the scope. Maybe im thinking wrong. I thought crosshairs 20 yards, 1st dot down 30 yards, 2nd dot down 40yds, 3rd 50yrds

Re: Sighting scope
Here's what I did... will depend whether your scope has a Speed Ring on it or not whether it will work for you.
Shoot at 20 yards using the 20 yard chevron (or crosshairs).
Back out to 40 yards, aim at the target WITH THE SAME CROSSHAIR and shoot.
At the 40 yard distance, hold the crosshairs where you just aimed, dial the Speed Ring until the 40 yard group is centered on the 40 yard chevron in the scope.
Should now be ON for 20, 30, 40 and 50 yards.
Good Luck!
