Praying for you. Had deviated septum and bone spur surgery two years ago. Hang in there and remember the packing comes off and you have a whole new lease on life. Just take the pills they tell you to when they tell you to. I tried to "tough it out" and paid for it. :) All the best.

Hope everything works out for you Mike!

You could have used the "Do-It-Yourself" method like I did Mike and achieved the same results with the sinuses.

Ya'll have heard me say before that I've got a vendetta against squirrels and that there's nothing more satisfying than picking up a squirrel missing half it's head. Several years ago I was squirrel hunting, had gotten 2 and was down in the bottom of a deep and steep hollow. I'm talking dang near straight up and down and I had slid on my butt to get down in the bottom of this thing to pick up the 2nd squirrel. Trying to figure out how to get out of there, I saw a log angling down the hill. Thought if I could make it up to the log, I could walk on the high side of it up to where it leveled out a little more. Made it up to the log and put one foot on it and my foot flew out from under me causing me to fall forward and to my left. You ever been hit in the nose and you know that "tingling" feeling you get. That's what I was feeling. Felt of my left nostril and could feel something up in there and my nose was bleeding. Tried to pull it out, but couldn't get a grip on it with all of the blood. Finally climbed out and went down to my step dad's house figuring he could take something and pull it out. As luck would have it though, my mother was there, saw the situation, and took me to the emergency room. E-room Dr. ended up pulling a stick out of my nose that was 3/8" wide on the upper end and about 5/8" long. He had me follow up with an Ear, Nose, and Throat Dr. who found another piece still stuck up in there. He tried to get it out there in the office but couldn't. They had to knock me out and go in and get it. That one was WAY up in there and about 3/8" long.

That was probably 10 years ago. To this day, the right side of my nose will get stopped up, but the left side won't. That's the Do-It-Yourself method, and the reason why I dislike squirrels so much! :x

He damn near! :x The ENT Dr, when I was following up with him after the surgery, said that he had ahold of the piece but couldn't get it out. He had to let go of it to get a different hold on it, when he did, it fell further back than it originally was. Said he REALLY had to go digging for it then. No wonder I was so sore!

So how you doing Mike? You breathing OK? Sleeping OK? At least you don't have to worry about blowing pieces of bark out of your nose like I did.

Darkside, Sheese! I still have my Ibex people. There are a lot of forum members here that have more than one bow. Heck, if I can't hunt i might as well dream.
I'm not sure what is going on with my nose. I am not suppose to sneeze or cough with my mouth shut and stay away from dust. Apparently my Doctor never seen my shop when he mentioned dust or maybe he did. Facemask for sure. I will know more on monday when he clean it up and then I should notice a difference but until then nothing has changed. I just think of a stick up my nose and my problems seem minor. OUCH!!
Yup, with all the clammer about Camx I thought I'd check it out. Can always send it back. We shall see. Always will have an excalibur for sure. :)
