Bought the Phonix

Last week i was looking @ a used Phonix in a pawn shop.The guy wanted $475.00...went back this morning and it was still there..told him I'd give $400.OO cash right now for it,and he said o.k..It look's maybe a year old,has the shadow zone lite-stuff package...but has only one bolt with it and maybe need's a new string.Time to go to Basspro and do some shopping..... :D

You'll find plenty of help and info here.

Double check the limbs for any splintering too! Even with needing bolts and a string, it sounds like you got a great deal.
I've only used my Phoenix on targets, but I'm very happy with it and looking forward to hunting with it in the near future.

Only one bolt? must have been in pieces then :shock:

Congrats! If in the USA ,check Danny Miller [USA warranty rep] for prices on accessories, he's cheap.

Thank's again! But what would cause the string on this bow on the right side above the quiver to be Frayed?..It does"t LOOK,like when you shoot it,it hit's a bolt[in the quiver]....just asking?...thank's....

Its because many carry the bow behind them and hold the right limb with their hand leaving the string on their shoulder.

The Phoenix is a good choice!
I'd call Dan Miller (740) 483-2312 and get some arrows and a spare string (or two).

Being on the quiver side, it is also possible, a broadhead blade may have come in contact with the string.
