I feel I'm being slandered. There has been untruth posted about me here and I'm setting the record straight:

First of all - I do not hunt out of heated blinds over bait - I have no idea were people got that impression. Seriously - where did that come from? I wish I had that kind of a cushy set-up, but I don't.

Secondly, the accusations made by Ami refer to this thread - Go see for yourselves what was and wasn't said:

http://www.excaliburcrossbow.com/phpBB2 ... =1&t=46707

or possibly this thread:

http://www.excaliburcrossbow.com/phpBB2 ... =1&t=46736

In neither one will you find the things that Ami had accused me of.

I am deeply saddened at what this forum has become in the last little while. I feel it might be time to join the ranks of the other good people who have deleted their accounts.

The front corners of the trigger guard are thin, square and sharp. Should they be rounded and bold instead? What do you think? Any other suggestions to make Matrix even better?

Vixchix, it was neither of those threads. It was the thread about boycotting some hunting event in Pennsylvania. I believe it has since been deleted.

It was the one where everyone thought my personal preference in hunting should involve posting my facebook pictures and assuming that I was someone with a personality disorder because there is an Ami and Aimee Iverson living at my residence. When I pointed out that I (Ami) is married to (Aimee) and that we share the same last name because we got married, it turned even uglier. You did participate in this mindless, bigoted, group behavior.

Personally, I wasn't even going to bring it up. Let bygones be bygones and so forth. But then, funny enough, a couple of you chimed in and started doing it again.

No matter how much you try, you aren't going to force your beliefs down my throat. You aren't going to change my preferences. If my preference for hunting exclusively with a crossbow bothers you, (on a crossbow forum nonetheless), then it's best you just ignore me and not comment at all.

Oh, and it's libel when it's in print, not slander. But even then, it's only libel if it isn't true and you did participate in that nonsense in that thread.

And to distract from what you have done, you turned this into some kind of pissing contest of "I've killed more animals than you so I know what I'm talking about." Generalized correlations are not definitive, quantitative conclusions of cause and effect. Your preconventional morality betrays you.

Never really dawned on me but now that you mention it a little more rounded might be nice? I'll survive as is though. :D

If you are talking about the front outside of the guard it's perfect. Walk carrying it it one hand. A perfect carrying hold.

I'm talking about the front corners of the trigger guard. After all discussions above I hesitate to say this :) but look at the gun trigger guards: they all are rounded and for a good reason - imagine you fall with the weapon in your hands.

:D
If I fall the last thing I'm worrying about is the trigger guard. Like I said that fits my hand perfect carrying bow one handed.

Ya put your hand infront of it and carry it one handed. Bow balances nicely and the shape is just right to afford a hold. If was rounded it might slip through your hand.
Why do you think it's shaped that way?
