Will nail polish remover work for taking glue off shafts???

Yes...Acetone will do it...It will also remove any finish on the arrow too.

I use 3m green pads first or scrape with a dull knife then wipe with acetone.
My hunting arras loose the labels as well.

If you use acetone, make sure that you wipe it off while it is still wet (it evaporates very quickly.) If you see white residue on the end of your shaft after you wipe it down it is an acetone/glue residue that will prevent your new glue form bonding properly. Make sure you have no white residue left and you will be all right.

yes it is what I use, but I use a final wipe with denatured alcohol.
