Very pleased with my Boo string

Post by strum »

A few days ago I received a string from my friend Boo.
I have used and tested a fair amount of his strings over the last 2 or 3 years and I can say the quality is second to none.
This string came with cat whiskers and angel majesty serving and a very nice red and black color scheme.
The string I was using also was a Boo string but I had installed the whiskers .
The first thing I took note of was the sound. Granted crossbows are loud but this combo im using is by far the quietest ive heard to date.
THANK YOU BOO!!! Im very impressed :D
This is the string that propelled the arrow that carried the slick trick that flew through the doe that's in my freezer

I am a big fan of the cat whiskers, I don't think they do anything, but they look good on a bow.

Very good looking string. I love my Boo strings too but have not shot one with the cat whiskers yet.

I shot a 3d tournie once with a group of guys. We had a equinox, a Phoenix, a vortex and a vixen a y25 was there and by far the quietest bow was a equinox with a NGSS and a boo string with whiskers. I don't have many strings with the Wiskers anymore cause slow bugs me more than loud, but I think it does wonders. When I first put on a string with whiskers on I remember being amazed that I could hear the thump of the arroo's hitting the target over the bow.

I was shooting my Y-25 at Boofest w/ whiskers [-4fps] and sts. Bill T commented on how quiet my bow sounded at the shot. 400 gr arrows, btw

Edited to add: Big Congrats!!! You other string makers might want to offer the whiskers, I love mine. No matl lost in 3 yrs of sporadic shooting either.
