mike have you seen the little add on camera mounts i make for munchmounts. you just follow the deer with your bow pointed at him and your videoing every step.its one less thing to have to think about just push record and your in business .

also i picked up a cheap ($60) vitara video camera at walmart yesterday .its waterproff like a gopro but about 1/5th the price
