Some folks get really anxious to get out there. Have forgotten my cocking rope -
both coming and going - but not yet the bow :D

Have had similar days working third shift years back. Middle of a lake minus a fishing rod. Sitting in stand while quiver rests on cab of truck.
Age was not a factor but there were times I could have hid Easter eggs and not been able to find them.
You had coffee though, now thats important!

I guess the one that still gets to me was I loaded up the Matrix in the Excalibur Case and forgot to load up the quiver and arrows drove a 1/2 hour to my leased property and decided to have a scouting day instead of a hunting day. I now try to double check so that doesn't happen again.

I got to the stand, cocked my bow, got comfortable and reached down to load an arrow when I realized the quiver and arrows were still in the truck. Huffed, puffed, and called myself a lot of deleted explatives as I trecked back to the pickup. Got back, got comfortable, loaded an arrow, looked around and realized I had left my gloves on the front seat. Well he.., I thought. Cold fingers that night. Dumb da dumb dumb...
