Mechanical Broad Head for the Matrix 380?

Post by WalknTall »

My brother in law just purchased the Matrix 380 and was looking to use mechanical broad heads with it. I told him I would ask the greatest knowledge base I know, of what works best with the Matrix 380.

Any input is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

W

125 grain Spitfires worked very well last season for me

I switched from the boltcutter 150s to a set of Rage Crossbow X in 100 grain to gain some speed out of my 380. They shot great at 60 yards at least with my rinehart 18 in 1 target. Didn't get much time last season in the woods but they may be something to try out. Like I've found with having an exomax every crossbow seems to shoot a little different so trying out different heads is the best one to try. It can get a bit expensive but nows the time to try em out.

I want to try the Rage 125 Crossbow X out of my Matrix 330. But my brother in law wasn't sure what the speed out of his 380 would do to it.

Thanks for the input. I will pass it along.
