Two Men A Mule and still having trouble with bolts
I have shot compound bows before and used different targets at different distances. When I went to pull the arrows out of the target I had to use some force but not exertion.
For my Axiom I bought a block target from Academy Sports. I shot bolts from 20 and 30 yards using field points and Xwhacker mechanicals.
The bolts went in about 3/4 of the length of the bolt using both points. Then I had to use 2 men and a mule to pull the bolts out. The mule being an oil field working neighbor.
The Axiom is only rated at 305 fps and 175 lb draw weight. I would hate to see what kind of difficulty you guys are having using the matrix 405 or even the Equinox or Exomax.
I know different targets react differently to each bolt type, point, etc., but even an arrow puller adapter didn't help much.
Do you guys experience this kind of problem using store bought block targets?

I shoot an Equinox and this target is easy to remove the bolts/arrows. Just don't shoot the same bulls eye more than once!

Bag target will release field point tipped arrows easily. Danny Miller arrow puller for the block. Makes life much easier.

I've not used a block. I use a 18-1pulling bolts not to bad.

Tip, take some acetone and remove logo from practice arrows. This makes it much easier to remove from block type targets. Logo material/ paint melts on contact when shot into block. It dries before you get there to pull out and bonds arrow to target, acetone fixes this.

a little arrow lube and a spyder web target makes life a little easier 18-1 for bh
Re: Two Men A Mule and still having trouble with bolts
Same here... for field points I use a bag target, usually can pull the arrow out with one hand. I've got a rinehart that's reserved for broadheads only, and an arrow puller is good to have around.

For the mixed bag of foam targets we encounter in 3D we use arrow lube- just on the first inch of the arrow. And of course, we wouldn't be caught without the Danny Miller arrow puller.

The 380 sinks em in to the block up to or past the fletch try twisting them before u pull it helps break the bond with the target I also bought a yellow jacket for practice points it pulls out easy

Best I've found so far. Big, relatively light, stops my 365 fps cold.
