I can't keep them or the screws that hold the anti dry fire tight in my 405 even with blue Loctite.

Just for grins, since blue lostite didnt work, clean the screws and female threads and degrease them. Use 100% silicone (caulk or sealer) on male threads and install. Wait till tomorrow to shoot the bow. I'll bet they dont loosen but you can take 'em out if you wish with no hassle.Just a thoughtBird wrote:I can't keep them or the screws that hold the anti dry fire tight in my 405 even with blue Loctite.

Re: Trigger mechanism loose screws
Don't want to strip them out. I know the lock washers on the trigger assembly are far past flat plus the Loctite. It will stay together about 30- 40 +/- shots then the groups start stringing out mostly downward.
Re: Trigger mechanism loose screws
If the loctite isn't holding, its likely there's traces of grease or lubricant on the threads stopping it bonding properly.
Do your best to clean both the threads properly with a solvent before thread locking again.

Yep, done that twice. Once with acetone and once with alcohol. Re did everything again tonight, will let it set till Friday or Saturday and try again.
