Micro speed

I have noticed a lot that guys shooting short arras at 350gr. Are getting in the 340fps range is that pretty normal to shoot higher than advertised?

I'm getting 358 grains to give me 337 - 338 FPS, I find that some do better than others, and it seems to be controlled by the limbs being matched in higher numbers. Excalibur seems to represent their bows very well in terms of "Real" speed. No, it is not uncommon to get just a bit more speed!

Im getting 348 with a 352 grain quill. With My hunting set up which includes a Flemish string and 387 grain arrows Im getting 338.

I was only getting 327 but it was with a 16" Bee, ignitior, 100 g muzzy and 402 gn....I think either the lumenok/ ignitor with the added wt along w 92gn insert affected the speed ... But I don't think it matters much... 335 to 327... I do want to play some more...

Thats true guys. But I also had 48 bows to pick from. I have noticed that the Black Micros are all running in the 340s. The camo ones are closer to spec.

I just set a black one up this morning to ship out. Before I put the Flemish string on I shot it through the Chrono in its stock form. 345 with the stock Quill.

When i bought my Micro i sent it through the crono at the dealer before i took it home with the stock set up and quills and 150 grain tips 402 total grains and it registered 313 fps..

with Dons flemish and 355 grn i am getting 336. 320fps with a 385 grn and 313 with 410grn. just alittle higher with stock string but as weight increases the gap closes. Stock string @ 355 grn im getting 341, 385 grn 324 and 410 grn 316 fps.

Newbie, I'm right there with you using a Flemish, never shot the stock string, I'll have to ask Rex what he's getting with her. I'm happy as all get out with 337 FPS, and 358 total grains!
