forward look where the limbs mount to the riser. if the limbs are straight its a flat riser.

The Matrix series are forward risers. The different draw weights and speeds are obtained by changing the length of the rail. The straight risers were on previous long limb bows.

A picture showing the difference would be perfect for those of us like me who
sometimes need the visual approach to clear up the confusion.

I have attached a picture of my Micro 335 (Swept Back Riser) and Matrix 355 (Swept Forward Riser). The straight edge is just for clarity. If I have made an error someone please correct me.

Well done, good photo for all way123hockey!
I did not know the Micro was swept back, I just thought it would be forward like most Matrix models and the later wide limb models.

I just got mine and didn't even notice till I looked at the pic.
makes me wonder.
if they just changed the riser they could have three different speeds ie.
swept back= 335
straight= 345(guessing here)
forward= 365 ( still guessing)
