3D shoots this coming weekend May 23 & 24

Just wanted to invite you all to shoot at the upcoming 3D shoots this weekend:

Saturday is an open shoot at Elmira Rod and Gun.

Sunday is a trad and xbow only shoot at Royal City Guelph.

I'll be at Elmira for sure (no TPM so you'll have to do your own xbow tune ups).

Very likely will be at Royal City as well. Shot there last weekend - always a good course!

I've heard of these 3D shoots. Seeing as I'm booked and coming to my first Boofest, hopefully some of you seasoned veterans (Monica,Vixenmaster,Cookie to name a few ) will be willing to take a novice newbie crossbow shooter like me under your wings and show me the ropes. I've had great fun shooting off the bench, I bet this 3D shooting will be a lot of fun. Kinda like shoot and release. Hopefully with a little coaching I'll get to hit foam on couple targets, maybe even compete a little? I'm looking so forward to meeting you all in person.

Target vertical bow, Excalibur all set and ready to go. Shooting depends on group I get entered in. Sucks going by myself but I have no friends.

I've just finished assembling and fletching 6 more arrows in case the meds kick in and I decide to shoot tomorrow.

The Elmira Rod & Gun club were excellent hosts today and I had a bunch of fun with Glenn (winner last week at Royal) and Steve (and his wife Bethany) from Excalibur. Steve was test driving an Excalibur/Bowtech prototype compound crossbow (really light cocking effort, much quieter release).

How common is 11 point scoring vs 12?

I'd enjoy it if we got a bigger group of surprise show ups tomorrow at Royal City!
