Does anyone use grim reaper x bow broadheads out of their matrix or micro crossbows? Do you band them?

I use 100 gr. Grim Reapers with my Matrix 380. Seem to be very accurate. My first year with a crossbow. Killed an adult doe without any issues. I do not use a rubber band. Grim Reapers were recommended to me by the archery shop owner where I purchased the 380, and his buddies who have used this broadhead for many years, taken many deer, and have not had any problems.

I would recommend banding any mechanical head out of a 380 for insurance ! JMO ! That sudden jolt is severe out of these high poundage Recurves !

Use 3/16" dental bands free from your dentist, I double band my hammerheads and I have 100% confidence in them!

....I bought and tried to use the Grim Reapers only to have a bunch of parts in my hands...they found their way to the garbage can very quick....purchased the Spitfire MAXX 100g and never turned back...this year I'm trying the Toxics...

I used and still use them. from the 1.5" to the whitetail specials. I band them for peqce of mind out of the short draw heavy weight bows. I double band the specials. They are a great head.

Try Grim Reaper model #1883
These are designed for bows like the Matrix 405.
So far the results from my 405 with these heads has been very good.
Good luck and let us know your results this fall.
I'd rather be shooting my Excalibur.
