Bad business

Post by Mtblue »

I bought an Excalibur Micro and the Excalibur air breaks from Borkholder Archery because it was on the list of dealers but I will NEVER buy from them again! When the Air Breaks arrived the package was open and missing some of the parts. I called Borkholder and explained the issue and they took my number and said they would call me back and send the part needed. Several days without hearing from them I called again and they told me to contact Excalibur Warranty department. I explained to them it had nothing to do with the warranty that the package they sent did not contain what it was supposed to contain. They told me I'd have to contact Exalibur. This is bad business

That's the American way isn't it? Rip off a customer, then leave it in the hands of the manufacturer, who probably did not have anything to do with the missing parts. I would be p'd off too.

I just looked at their site and it appears that they take credit cards and Paypal. If you used either simply file a claim and get your money back.

Yeah it's not Excalibur's fault. I spent $1,000.00 with this order you would think #1 they would have ensured all the parts were in the package before they shipped it and #2 they could have either sent me what was missing or just told me to ship back the package and they could have sent what I ordered. They just didn't want to be bothered with it since they got my money.

I avoid pro shops like the plague because of what you describe. I've come to expect this from pro shops. I ordered my micro from cabelas and am taking care of the warranty issue direct with excal. I could have just returned the whole works to cabelas, but they did not have another micro in stock at my local store.

We HAD an excal dealer here, 3-4 bows, stock arras, stringers -n- such. went in the other day and looked around and couldn't even find an excel cap! . . .guess they give'em up. . . .no worries though . . .if the word could be put out to go the excal forum first, you'd get all the information you'd want or ever need!

I guess your choice is to contact Excalibur for what you need. I would also be making a call to Peter and letting him know how an authorized dealer is treating customers. Excalibur can't address this if they're unaware.

Yeah I emailed Excal to see if they could help me and to let them know about the dealer. It's funny the dealers website has reviews posted that are all great reviews however you can't just leave one, you have to email them and they post the reviews they want people to see.

Why I would only buy anything Excalibur from Danny Miller,,,, I can assure anyone they would never suffer this experience him, you can take that to the bank, Dave Wyvern is just as reliable and will sell it any way you want it!
