The umbrella really helps on those wet days. They won't stand high winds or a heavy snow load, though.

I seldom hunt if it's raining hard, or hard rain is in the forecast. Made the mistake of sticking an arrow through one right before the skies opened up one time years ago. Had to hit the trail and stick to it to keep from loosing her. She went about 300 - 400 yards through some rough terrain (including 2 creek crossings) with me pushing her. If it hadn't rained she would have been dead within minutes and only about 40 yards from where I shot her.

Well see sorry i work outside everyday these weatherman havnt been acing the forcast lately. This storms supposed to have a 500 mile give or take well see. What happens. With all the modern wizzerdtry these forcasters are not a whole lot better than 20 years ago. In my worthless opinion.

You guys in the eastern part of PA may have some tough conditions this weekend with a possible tropical storm coming up the coast. Looks like here in the northwest hill country we should avoid most or all of this system. I may use my doghouse blind Saturday if the light rain and drizzle forecast holds up. Looking forward to the upcoming overnight lows in the upper 30's. Nothing like sitting in a treestand on a crisp fall morning.
