New Excalibur Owner "Cabelas Equalizer"

Post by Equalizer »

Hi everyone ,Just got my new Excalibur today , " Cabelas Equalizer"
Getting away from my Ghost 400 .
If any one has any tricks or knowledge they would like to share with me ,I would appreciate it .
It took 3shots to dial it in at 20 yards .
I would like to make the bow quite without disturbing the speed .
Any information would be appreciated .

Get a string stop, extra string and rope cocker from Danny Miller. 740 483 2312. Better and less expensive products.
You have not filled in your location so I am assuming you're in the US.

Congrats on a fine crossbow. As Boo stated, string stops will help without sacrificing speed, not too much more you can do, maybe fill the rail with something dense, wrap the stirrup, and put some shrinkable tubing on the arrow retainer.
Earplugs work great though, and don't cost much! Some folks say when you that Toooonk! It's like a dinner bell.
