That happens to me when I'm doing this on my phone. The SUBMIT button will disappear. So I found a fix. Type only so much but then go back in and EDIT it. It doesn't do it when you edit it.

Now then, get your equipment, your quiver and bow, and go out to the open country to hunt some wild game for me.

If I'm typing a long story, I'll typically type it in "word" then copy and paste it in the thread..

I think there is a time limit on how long you have to compose a post. I type a bit then save the draft, type and save, etc.

I believe that is the issue. I've had it happen to me in the past when typing a long story. I'll have to try the Word/copy/paste method next time. :)

Guys I am not one to complain and I truly love the folks and the content on here - but there are many forum / message board technology solutions available out there. It seems we are working around this one quite a bit between attaching pics and just plain typing. I've seen at least a half dozen contributors here tap out in the short time I've been around due to the technical limitations. I wonder if we could request that the Excal team look at a possible change?

Those who've been around longer than me and know the organization, where should we start? One of the biggest keys is to make sure we don't lose the valuable info out there already.

Can anyone help in making the request to Excalibur?

This forum is a little different than others I'm on on, I can not for the life of me figure out how to subscribe to a thread.

Another ideal is to click on the FAQ at the top right of forum page. May find answers you are asking about. Useful info there.
