Best Matrix/Micro Series Crossbow Poll

have a 355 and a 380 , they are both good shooters . I like the 380 for hunting and the 355 for hunting .what I am trying to say I like them both the best.

I voted for the 355. I have a 355 and a Phoenix. I prefer the 355 for hunting and the Phoenix for target shooting.

It depends somewhat on why we have the crossbow. If it's primarily for hunting, greater speed only helps. I love my 405. For me, it's ideal. If shooting year around were my passion, hunting, etc and I could only own 1 xbow, the 355.

330 hands down. Nothing goes wrong with the 330. I have yet to read a post about limbs cracking, or the tips breaking off.

...A little confused by the poll....reason, it is based upon what you own, have owned, financial ability, type of hunting, body build, etc...since in the poll I have only owned the 380...obviously that is my answer....

Absolutely love my 380. Leaving to go on a weekend hunt with it in about an hour. Love the speed and accuracy. Killed 2 deer with it so far. Poor things didn't have a chance.

I hear what your saying about everyone mentioning "their's" as the "Best Model" as it most likely is for their particular needs, while also considering the reliabliity of the various models. Would you put out your hard earned $ for what you considered was "less than the best" for your particular needs?

Had I not felt the 355 would be best for me, I would have simply bought a different model, which in my opinon would be better for "My" uses, as well as "My" preceived degree of reliability in that model...

Initially I bought a Matrix 330 which I preceived would be the "Best" for me. I later up-graded thru a trade for what I truely feel is the best Matrix model for me. That being my M 355 for it's performance, draw weight, and reliability....

I'm pretty sure, Brother Ron on the other end of that trade, felt in reflection that the M330 was quite possibly the Best matrix model for him.

I do also have another excal. model which I am waiting to make further determinations on, and so far, so good ,,, but it's not a Matrix which is the model line in question.

I voted 380. I have had a few of them and like the speed. (405 was not available at the time) This is a good poll to show which models are most popular on the Excalibur forum.

It looks like the 355 and the 380 are running neck and neck and its going to be a close one.

for me a 380 gets r' done --- and --- a 405 when I really want to get r' done. Very happy with both -- if I had to choose not sure which one I would go with -- and for what it is worth no limb problems with either one. The 380 had one issue with the ADF but Danny Miller quickly solved that.
