Let one walk.
Got off work a little earlier yesterday afternoon so I called the school and let them know that I'd be picking Tyler up and asked them not to put Him on the bus. I picked him up @2:45 and we were set up in the doghouse blind near where he killed his first one last week. I heard a deer approaching from behind us so I told Tyler to be perfectly still and quiet. I leaned over and barely unzipped the blind and saw another spike getting ready to walk around the blind on Tyler's side. When the buck came around the blind, He was about 10 yards away. We waited until He got about 40 yards or so and I told Tyler to take Him, If He wanted to. Tyler pulled up His ear muffs and used my cane as a shooting stick and looked at Him for a minute. Tyler said that this deer looked alot smaller and younger than the one He took last week. He looked up at me and said " let's let him walk and maybe I'll take a big doe later." I told him that I thought that he had made a wise choice and It is kinda rough on both of us to kill one in the middle of the week, you know, getting him out, registerer, cleaned and in the freezer on a week night. We saw one more small doe at dark, let her walk by then packed up the blind and went home. Another great hunt
God Bless !!!!!!!!!
