My friend this Forum is a great place to learn of all things Excal crossbows. I give this advice don't try to use a Micro string on a Matrix model. It would be a frustration tryin to set the brace ht.

I see yer new to the Excals, so its a time to learn all you can. When you feel that yer ready fer a Custom Flemish string, like after 500-750 shots. PM me & i will send you a FF+ 40 strand Matrix string, they are most forgivin on the limbs but tend to creep along abit
