NIB Matrix Grizzly

Post by Huntsman »

Well this is not my first Excalibur cross bow, my first is the Equinox which I love shooting!!
But I wanted something a little lighter and little more manageable for successive shooting. Well I got it. A brand new Matrix Grizzly :D
I was actually looking for used Phoenix or Axiom but with Cabela's Hometown Heroes celebration I picked up the Grizzly. What a sweet little shooter. I am very happy. I am quite surprised (impressed) with the power of this small package.
The SMF looks very rugged and from what I've read from other owners its very strong. I'm getting some good penetration into my block with the Diablo bolts and supplied 150gr field points. I was thinking of going a lower weight but I think I'll stick with the 150's.
Thank You Excalibur :D

Hey Thanks ALL!!
I'm in the middle of buying and installing a few of the add-on's as she's a bit noisier than my Equinox at the moment
So far the R.E.D.S. suppressors have been installed and some string whiskers. Seems quieter already now I the 'brake pads". Man she is fun to shoot :D :D

You will love the Grizzly as I do. I shoot 378 grains and it is dead accurate.

Interestingly, over the last three months I picked up a Micro 335 at what was a really nice price. Shot a bit and really liked it but was not a bow that I could shoot all day, so I swapped it for a Matrix 355. Well after shooting that, I decided that I really do still like my Grizzly more than the 355, so I sold that one recently.

Sitting here smiling thinking about how much I really like my first buy, the Grizz!

Well I picked up a griz cub and just shot it a few times yesterday and wow, what a shooter. A bit loud and I have bumpers not installed yet and I got a matrix string from vixen so hopefully I can bring the decibels down, but love shooting it. There are going to be a few deer in deep trouble come December.
