Excalibur vs Texas Hogs

Post by Hunt it »

My buddies and I just returned from a great week in Texas. Eight guys and eight Excaliburs, 4 X 380, 2 exomags, 2 Phoenix. All totalled 16 hogs and 2 havies were harmed in the process of filling the coolers. The weather was fantastic and a couple of real good hogs hit the dirt.Image

Sounds like an awesome trip. Where did you hunt? Did you use an outfitter??

A buddy of mine leases 2 places just outside of Odessa. He does take hunters but as of now he is all booked for 2017 and 2018. He is working on a few more ranches and if he secures them I'll post his info.

Could you sit down and write a small story of your hunt, shots taken, guys with you on the hunt, were you camping out, and maybe where they all come from? I'm not sure if they are forum members (?) but it would be nice to put their picture with a name if they are.
I've met no members in person so these stories are my way of getting familiar with others here in the crossbow community.

Please consider it, if the others in your group would be in agreement with a hunt story.

Thank's Gene

X2. We've been spoiled here. Some of the folks on here write better stories than any paid magazine writer.
