Less on my bow is more for me. I use a tensing shoulder pack that holds the quiver around your belt line that allows you to access your arrows.

I actually took mine off, and mounted it to my back pack, its always with me and easy to get to and never in the way ! when I get in my stand I hang my back pack and my arrows are at the ready, :) I use ladder stands with a shooting rail and the quiver bracket is never there to impede my shooting ability. :D JMHO

I do not go out and spend money on hip quiver etc,i carry fanny pack and hook the quiver to it walking to my Summit 180 climbing stand..never have it on bow and 52 years hunting buck with bow but I did have quiver on my recurve bow but when I climbed into apple tree with no stand I took it off it was only used to carry arrows and back then you had no cover on points ,you slip and arrow is thru your leg ..

I keep mine in my backpack, don't shoot with one on my compound either. I hang it on a hook once I'm in my stand.

I took all hardware off the bow to ease up on weight,,,,then I bought a cheapo hip quiver at bass pro ,,removed the top plastic cover ring surround from quiver and trimmed the bottom casing a few inches to quill height with tin snips and remounted the top cover ring again and either carry it on my belt or pack with a carabiner,,,,or tuck it in my jacket ,,,, 99% of the time I use one or no arrows,,

I really like my Excalibur quiver...It stays on my bow loaded with 4 Zombies ready to go...Equipped with a nice selection of points for any situation. 1 Judo, 1 Bludgeon Blunt, 1 Muzzy SGH, and 1 SlickTrick ( in case something really needs dead) ...along with my rope cocker on my string.

I often have critters/predators in my yard that I can/need to shoot...so I want to be able to grab my bow and go on a moments noticed. It hangs from the stirrup on a hook in the ceiling.

I also like it for my nightly target shooting...I found that if I slide my field tipped arrows into the holes straight down from the back it is really easy to reload the quiver. Instead of trying to "pop" them in from the side.

I do take the quiver off sometimes when I am on stand...and the quick release screw on the Excal make this very convenient.

It carries my arrows to and from, anytime I am stationary and while shooting it is off.

Hip quiver for me. Anything else is too awkward in the thick stuff where I hunt.

Hip quiver of one sort or another when hunting. Either a sidewinder hip quiver or an old Adams Arrow Holster until time comes to drag an animal, then the hip quiver gets attached to my pack. When target shooting I use a leather pocket quiver in my back pocket.
