Are there many exomax crossbow shooters left? that's what I went back to set up with a leupold crossbones scope.my first Excalibur was the exomag and it worked well..as far as a skinny bow with speed I'm using a Mission mxb 400 shooting 407 fps with a 425 gr 22" arrow BUT the exomax gets more use. :D

My exomax may be a liitle wide, but it shoots lights out, and is a go to for most of my hunting situations. I just plain have confidence in it.

I have owned a few Excalibur models, and a another brand too, but i think my Vortex was the best of all! Just a bullet proof model all the way, and lights out deadly for hunting. My limbs were in worse shape at the end of the season than her's!

I sold my matrix 355 and 405, had problems with both of them. The only Excalibur I own now is a 2000 model Exomag, it's absolutely bulletproof.

My Max is on the wall to make room for my M405 but I try to get a few hunts a season with it. Still dead on over all the years without any tweaking~!

I haven't shot my Exomax in a couple years, but I can't bare to sell it. My son has taken over my Matrix 380, and I'm now exclusively shooting my Micro 335.

I tell myself (and my wife) that I keep the Exomax around for a back up bow...that's my story, and I'm sticking to it...

No ExoMax here, but I've got over a decade on my E-Mag. Last year I broke down and bought a Micro, but I'm glad I kept the old dinosaur.

I still like them both, some of the places I hunt is very thick and dense, and Micro is great for those conditions. I still shoot the eMag just a little better ( I only practice standing, unsupported), but I think its because I have a lot more time behind the trigger with that rig.

My only complaint is that I had to buy a new broadhead target because the short quills from the Micro bury themselves and have to be driven out!!

Besides a couple of Matrix (380 and 355), I also have an Exomax and Exocet 200. Even though I have more bows than I need, I don't think I could bring myself to sell my Exo-series models. Of course, if I received "an offer I couldn't refuse", I might just consider letting the Exomax go.

Had an Exomax for several years. Sold it a few years ago and bought a 380 Matrix and I have never looked back. The Exomax was accurate, fast enough, and crazy dependable..never a problem but it was also wide and for me that was an issue. Hunting from a treestand was a lesson in contortion and walking thru the swamps before and after daylight was laughable. I sounded like a car wreak. Great bow but I could just not get over the wide limbs.... The Matrix to me is the ideal combination of just about everything. JMO
