Magnus Bullheads ready for turkey season!

Post by DaverV »

Magnus Bullheads shooting out of my Excalibur Matrix 380 with 22" bolts/4" fletch, to clear the stirrup. 2 shots at 20 yards and hitting bang on! Follow my YouTube link for the demo.

Big John custom made these arrows for me and they work awesome. Magnus also makes the same basic arrow, specifically for Crossbows.

Cool!!!

I am waiting for my 4" vanes to be delivered so I can fletch and start the sighting in process.
A touch of frost has heightened your awareness and your heart steadily beats in anticipation. Your senses are suddenly alert to the movement on the forest floor and you realize that the moment of truth is at hand.

I tried those new spinning inserts and that did the trick for me . got them in 20" zombies with 2" blazers on a Arizona jig . they have a lot of diff. weights , put in the 90"s in mine . you can also use them on Broad heads . just a thought.
W.M. can't beat those Bull Heads all you need is 3 and they will last a life time . life time warranty.

Nice video of practice, and also watched another one you had of a turkey hunt, think it said 2014.

Now using that bullhead, or heads like them, do you aim for the side of the turkey head/neck, so as the blade passes, it cuts, or do you aim right at the head/neck?

Never used any head like that, just trying to find out how you aim.
When you sight them in, make sure that the center of the head is connecting with the bulls eye. When you are hunting you will want to do the same thing and aim for the center of the neck. Don't worry about hitting him square... the blades will connect! I do like to wait until the bird has his neck stretched out a bit and aim right for the middle. Good hunting,

Daver

when you set out your decoys set them in close 10yds or less that way you have less of a chance of missing . you will do just fine . if you keep cool and take your time . good luck to you . 8)
