Newbie here

Post by williamsalan64 »

Hello all, I have owned a Carbon Express and a Parker Thunderhawk.
Now I'm in the market for a real crossbow an EXCALIBUR.
I have my eye on either the Micro 335 or 355.
I like the both crossbow's just not sure witch to get.
My plans are to deer and bear hunt with it, also lots of practice.
Thanks for a great forum.

Welcome to the forum, BOTH! Really, the 355 if it is in your wheelhouse in terms of cocking effort. A little more zip never hurts!

Welcome aboard.
Either one will keep you happy.
Best bet is to go somewhere that will let you cock and shoot both of them - then make your decision. ;)

Just got me a new Excalibur Micro 335 camo. YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok I'm looking to a new string and stringer could someone suggest who to buy from?
Also do most of you stay with the stock arrows Quill or what other arrows can I get?
I'd like to upgrade my scope also with the Twilight DLX scope, any chance on selling the stock scope and if so whats a good price to get out of one?

Thanks to all for the help. :D
