New Micro strap hardware

Post by janesy »

New strap hardware now to eliminate those pesky 1/8" Allen head shoulder bolts on the Micros. At least for the 355 anyway.

Are the round barrel spacers aluminum or steel?

I'm sure this is obvious but I'm not understanding where they go on the bow? What is the advantage of the new hardware?

On the micro 355, it went under the limb strap to allow the limb a bit of movement. Similar to the airbrakes. Where as the 335 was sinched tight.

The original design was just some aluminum tubes over the stock shoulder bolts. Which had a tiny 1/8 Allen head and were almost always stripped on removal. This new system locks the spacer into place, and uses a much stronger(I assume, I just got them today) screw to hold it down.

I do not know if it is going onto all micros, but I can say for certain all new 355's are leaving with this setup.

I will add that this is not necessarily a requirement for most people, but if you remove your limbs often it's worth its weight in gold.

I've just installed them now. I should have measure them prior to install, as the leave more space than the previous spacer did.
