Shot a 10pt Sunday evening!

Post by Riflemanz »

I went out hunting Sunday afternoon to my favorite spot where some jakal cut my ladder stand up and I decided to hunt on the ground. I sat on a log and then cut some branches with leaves on them and put them on each side to conceal me. I wore a camo hood facemask too. I threw out some T69 on the runway. At 5:50pm a buck comes walking down the runway and stops at 20yds straight on frontal look at me, he sees the bow starting to shake and he looks to me as any second he's going to bolt so I put the red dot on his middle chest and fire, Bam, he drops like a rock! No tracking! Easton 2219 magnum tipped with a Hammerhead 3 blade 2" cut does the job! The 355 does the job! He's a 10pt buck with one tine broken and he has tree shavings on his brow tines.
We had a hard time trying to get him on a deer cart due to how heavy he was. He went over 200# easy! Biggest buck I've ever shot. I still have 2 doe tags left.
Photobucket is down due to a hacker attack so i'll post pics later.

I just took that same shot on my 6 point. Hit the center of that white patch and watch them fall.. :)
