Hunting as a kid with my Dad and Uncle I would of gotten my rear end tanned if I had leaned a gun on a vehicle. They made it an issue to set a good example for safety's sake. To this day I don't do it and have them to thank for that.

I'm not without fault though. Tail Gates are my weakness!!

I watched the news last night where a Oregon hunter returning to his pickup was unloading his rifle while walking. :shock: His rifle discharged, hitting his truck and 2 of his "Small" children who were sitting inside waiting there with grandpa and another sibling...

They will live as they were both hit in the legs or feet but this was with a high power rifle ...

My Dad did that once in a public hunting parking lot... he didn't run over it, but someone got a really nice crossbow after he drove away and forgot about it. :(
