ANY REMARKS ON TOMBSTONE MATRIX CASE

Post by mreyner »

Looking at getting one for 350SE. Have a Plano hard case, pain in south side to use. Any thoughts? :D

I've got 3 Matrix Tombstone cases.

They're nice enough and if you dig around you can get one for $50-$60.

I wish there was one outer pocket that would hold the MTM arrow box, but they're too short.

The new Ex-Shield case looks like the top pocket will hold the MTM, but I haven't seen any of these out yet. They are supposed to be a little lighter duty, but again, haven't seen one yet.

I paid way too much for mine at the local archery shop, but it is a very well-made, quality case. Provides more than adequate protection for my Matrix 355.

I like my tombstone case during hunting season. A zippered pouch that holds my quiver of arrows, and another one for stringer and other accessories. My other case is a Plano Tactical case that I use for traveling.. I can remove the limbs and store the mainframe and both riser/limb assemblies in it, as well as cocking rope and string wax,

I was going to get the Tombstone for my Grizzly. I was told that it was being discontinued and replaced with the new Ex Shield case. I was told it is the same dimensions, has the same padding, more pockets and priced cheaper. In my opinion the Tombstone looked nicer but I went with the Ex Shield and I have no complaints.
