Piebald Mount

Post by DuckHunt »

I finally got my piebald mount back. The taxidermist is an artist in my opinion and did an excellent job on it. He is mounted on a rock base which suits the terrain where he was harvested perfectly.

With all this white, he has a black tail.

Equally spotted on the left side.

A white stripe through a front hoof...

And a more visible white/clear stripe through one of the back hooves.

It turns out that my deer of a lifetime might be a spike.

Nice mount so what if it is a spike being piebald makes it a trophy . I would have done the same thing .

Awesome job, big congrats! Very few hunters, and people in general ever see one in their lifetime, I think it will be the most talked about, and precious trophy you could have!
