350 SE Completed!

Post by mreyner »

Well it is mostly complete :? . My new 350SE - I modified as follows.

Air breaks with camo inserts. Dr. Stirrup with camo, 4x4 kocker, Dr. Stirrup limb silencers. HHA scope mount with single post and fiber optics 2X camo wrapped scope. Vixenmaster 1095 custom string :D Made a 1 1/4" taller cheek rest, perfect alignment camo wrapped. Modified a Parker crank unit to work without moving around, works good but a C2 will be in the future. Matrix case. Ti64 bolt kit.

Thanks to all members who made suggestions and helped in the build 8) .

I'll bet that is about the quietest, gentlest, smoothest Excalibur made. The Boo & Vixenmaster strings are unbelievably great. These men are true craftsmen!
If you haven't yet, double shrink wrap the arrow hold down spring and bend it so it won't contact rail after the arrow passes. You can do this where there is still very adequate pressure on the arrow.
Another noise reducer and serving saver is the Boo modified string latches. I understand Boo will or did modify the stock trigger for smoother operation and slightly modify/polish the string latches . TT is familiar with this mod and will also recontour the latch arms. They did this on 2 of my TT triggers. I have a Boo and a Vixenmaster string with over 2,000 shots out of M380 & 405. Both strings have been on both xbows. Without this recontouring, I doubt that even these great strings would have lasted w/o reserving.
You likely have one of the nicest Excal bows period.
