Traveled with a buddy from Ontario to Nebraska for an early season archery hunt this Spring. It was my first time in Nebraska for turkey & I was not disappointed. Beautiful countryside and loads of wildlife. Managed to tag two beauty long beards with the Excalibur Crossbow & Magnus Bullheads. Tried to post a bunch of photos of the landscape etc... My Photo Bucket links didn't work though. Video links at the bottom of the post.
Thats awesome and congrats ! I was there March 27-Apr 1 and also killed 2 toms. Could have killed another one with my second but I only bought 2 tags ! Ugh. Did you get any snow ? Where I was we got 6 inches on Sat the 1st.

Thanks! I guess I timed it right... We got there on March 26 & Left on the 31st, so we missed the snow. I only bought 2 tags as well... at $110 US per tag, I opted to explore & do a bit of shed hunting instead. Congrats on your Nebraska hunt, sounds like you had a great trip too!
A touch of frost has heightened your awareness and your heart steadily beats in anticipation. Your senses are suddenly alert to the movement on the forest floor and you realize that the moment of truth is at hand.
Thanks guys! Good luck to everyone chasing Ontario gobblers this spring. Tuesday can't get here soon enough. I drive around all day long for my job & the number of Gobblers I've seen around the country side this week has been driving me nuts
