My box had the serial number on it, mine was 0610 so mine is good to stay in the bow.

Re: Trigger tech recall
My Matrix 355 TTT does not have a serial number or any stampings etc other than the TTT logo. Also got to pull the one from Rem 700. What is the customer support number to TT company? I tried to load my info on the recall website at TTT but once completed filling I click submit and nothing happens. So the data is not getting transmitted. I will try that again tomorrow.

Re: Trigger tech recall
....just pulled TTT #2 from my Matrix 380....again, based upon the SN on the bottom of the trigger box (see image below) as compared to the recalled trigger listing provided by TT...this is not one of the offending triggers...I am good to go....
....I have provided an image for those who want to know where to find the S/N....
....first I remove the stock from the rail.
....second, leaving the scope attached, I remove the 2 screws holding the trigger box in place, and
....pull the whole trigger unit out with scope attached.
....Hopefully this helps,
***note of advice- as part of your summertime tuning, etc. in preparation for the upcoming season, I strongly suggest that you make sure ALL of your fasteners are snug...this includes the two holding the trigger box in place...I have found on both of the bows that I have had to check for the TTT recall that the trigger box fasteners were not as snug as I would have liked...they have now been tightened using Blue Loctite!***

Re: Trigger tech recall
My serial number was in very small white lettering about half way up the side of the box. I had to look hard to find it.

Re: Trigger tech recall
I don't know what to do. I have 2 2-stage triggers. It appears that only one is part of the recall. Never shooting a single stage, and being quite comfortable with my 2 stage, I'm not sure if I should just keep shooting them as they are, or ask TT to replace both. I bought the recall one from Danny Miller based on his advise that if hunting in cold weather and or wearing gloves, the 2 stage would be more forgiving. I don't think I want 2 different style triggers. Any truth that they might offer a third option, repair the 2 stage triggers?
Re: Trigger tech recall
I do not think they will swap out one that is not under recall for you. They MIGHT rebuild the other one if they get enough people wanting to keep them. Call them and ask.

Re: Trigger tech recall
i filled out the forms and also gave them a call. they have several different systems of numbers and locations of serial numbers and date codes. had to remove 3 of mine to see the info.i got lucky and none had to be returned. as far as the 2 stage models i can understand being use to wanting to have all your crossbow triggers the same. they remind me of the SAVAGE ACCUTRIGGER and add another level of safety.give them a call and express your concern. maybe if there are enough people they will fix them. if not maybe try a single stage or get a refund as they cost a bit more than the single stage models.i will say Trigger Tech has handled this recall very stand up!

Re: Trigger tech recall
I can't help myself . After some post here and on face book and posts in the past I need to get this of my chest. Did some of you not know that replacing the trigger might void your warranty ? Really ?
Put big tires and a lift kit on your truck once ,see what happens . Customize a new rifle or pistol then send it in for work . Open a back of a t.v once then try to have it repaired. How can any reasonable person think Excalibur should cover anything that is not factory . I am shocked to hear of all of the things they do cover , that could be one of the reasons they are so pricey . Don't get me wrong I love to mess with one of my bows , but if something goes wrong with it I'll let them know it's not factory and except what they decide to cover if anything. Also I did not read anything about them blaming T.T for past failures... Before some of you get all bent out of shape , make a product ,sell it , have someone mess with it . Then if it fails fix it at your cost while listening to them tell you about the junk you make. The only way to stay in business like that is to charge for the repairs or to past the costs on . Think about it .
