crank that you can switch sides with the handle
Will Excalibur be coming out with a crank that you can switch sides with the handle ? Would help people like me that has to use the left hand for most things . There are currently two companies that do they are Barnett and Parker if they can do it Excalibur can do it ,

They have a new crank which should be hitting the market soon but I have no idea what it is going to look like yet.

Hunter,
I saw your request to have a C2 crank that you could use left handed. I looked at the C2 and nearly everything can be setup for use on the left side of the crank. Using the original holes on the right side I was able to set it up in the drill press to establish the same hole spacing. Once that was done I flipped it over and tapped the two 10-24 holes and did a bit of countersinking with a 1/2" end mill. Now all that is needed is a left hand wound torsion spring as the original is a right hand wound spring and is not easily reused in a left hand setup. Should get the parts in from McMaster in a couple of days. So with a bit of work the C2 can be converted into a left handed crank.

Re: crank that you can switch sides with the handle
I thought it could be like I said Barnett and Parker make one that the handle can be switched , Right now I am having problems with both arms I hate to say it I may have to pick up a Parker Concorde which is cocked by pushing a button in the stock and 2 claws come up and hook the string it can cock the xbow in 2 seconds it is power by CO2 just for times like this until they straighten up. Anything to stay in the game . It just s----.

Any idea when this crank might hit the market?robertyb wrote:They have a new crank which should be hitting the market soon but I have no idea what it is going to look like yet.
I'm sort of waiting. It is tough as I want a new bow but am told my present crank will not work (haven't tried it yet on a new bow). The crank I have was purchased when I bought a new exomag. That's been a few years ago..
Keep smiling!

Would a crank that was operated by say a small electric screwdriver or electric drill be feasible with the issues you mentioned with your hands?
