Bargain Heads Up

Post by flightattendant100 »

Noticed that Cabelas has Matrix 380's "Refurbished" marked down to $419.00 US. and Matrix 355 "Refurbished" for $ 351.00 US. Both have Tac-Zone scopes and 380 has REDS and an anti-dryfire scope mount. Says In Stock. if anyone is in the market.

They are discussing this on other forum too and saying to look at them if possible because some are missing parts and what is in a refurb box is what you get so if say a quiver is missing you will have to buy one yourself. One guy said his buddy bought one and it came in looking like it had been thrown off a cliff.

With the exception of the missing parts wouldn’t any structural problems be covered by the Excalibur warranty?

Every time I get the urge to buy a new crossbow I remind myself how well my Exomax has performed. Just put a new Twlight DLX on it and have killed four deer with it so far this year.

Yes the Excal warranty is still in effect on the bows.

I wonder if you could order one and have it shipped to Danny for a good looking over and fixing?

I'd run it by him before purchasing it. Based on everyone's experiences with Danny I'd say yes.

I posted this on the Excalibur FB page... Thought about it overnight and ordered one the next morning. I just couldn't help myself! I kind of feel like I'm cheating on my rock solid, accurate and always ready Exoxet but I'm going to try to attempt to convince her an open relationship is an ok thing. :-)

I stopped by the Cabelas in Hartford CT over the weekend. They had several Micro's on clearance. I honestly was not looking to buy a new bow. I couldn't help myself when the tag for a Micro 355 said $525. It also came with a C2 cocker.

UPS dropped off my refurbished matrix 380 on Monday. It's like brand new. Full "lite" package. Scope, rings, cocker, quiver, diablos, string, DVD, and bag of small goodies. I'm pumped! Getting some new arrows cut, custom string , Excalibur sound deadening system and Hawke Pro 30 coming too. :D
