I recently picked up a camo Micro 355 ( as a back up ) with a Tactzone and the "light package" , but also with a Cabelas " up-grade package " including a C2 crank, air brakes, what they refer to as brake pads... these are the adhesive wedge shape ones you locate between back of the limb and the string as they come together at the end of each limb ( and usually fly off within the first 5 shots, as I found out on my Micro 335 ) and a set of "Cat Whiskers" was also included ..

All accessories were in sealed Excalibur packages.

I found it marked down to $535 not counting my 5% Veterans Discount.... So it was right at $480 out the door, as Oregon has no sales tax. How can you walk away from that when you have $ in your pocket.
Note: this bow was not in the bargain Cave but hanging with the other Xbows for sale.

I have since realized that my Micro 335 and spare set of limbs as back up's for my current Micro 355 are sufficient and that it was not really needed as "One More Back-up" , so I sold it to a local guy four days ago for $800.

When I priced it, he jumped on it as he realized what MSRP was on this package.

We were both happy and I came home yesterday with a brand new Springfield Armory AR15 "Saint" with the proceedes of that transaction and no $ out of pocket.

While there, I watched a lady from Southern Oregon buy a Matrix 330 ( Light Pachage ) at the same time for I think right at $380.

Gene, I also bought a Springfield Armory Saint with the free floating handguard earlier this year.

Been a good gun so far, accurate and fun to shoot, it's my first AR and I really like it.

I’m concerned about my sanity. Currently, owning 2 M405s, a M380 and a BD400, I’d order one of those 405s except I want to still be married on this upcoming Aug 3 for my 50th wedding anniversary.

PS Having owned my M380 for 6 years and a M405 for nearly 5 years, I’m no less enthralled with either that the month after I got them. My favorite Excalibur is the one I’m currently shooting. I’m likely not the only Excalibur owner who feels this way. So glad to be off the compound latest and greatest merry go around.

I hear you Steve, if I didn't already have 2 405's I'd be all over that deal. I had to stop looking at it for fear I'd jump in again!!

It seems to me that I have seen prices on Excals come down on the "secondary" marketplace or with "pre-owned" bows.

Saw one fully equipped used Matrix, which was hardly used, selling for $450!!! (it's long gone)

Pine Mountain Archery in W. Va sells the Matrix 380 Lite Stuff Package for $679 with free shipping within US. They have these all day every day. That's still too much for me, but that's the best price for a new M380 package that I've seen.

Wow..... just wow. I'm staying away from Cabela's, I don't need another crossbow and I would likely crumble at that price.
