I have top mounts on both of mine, but take the quiver off when I get in the stand. The way I see it, the less mass I have to move around the less chance of being caught moving. Having a Micro doesn't hurt either.

Mines on my backpack. I can't fit a mount on my bow. No exposed rail from the underside. They feel strange to me to have the quiver on the bow

I have top mounts that I made that are like Danny Miller’s top mounts. I mount thw quiver to and from blinds. I take the quiver off and hang it in the blind while hunting. 👍🏻

I carry my quiver in my pack. Prefer to carry and shoot my crossbow with no distractions or excess weight.

I always used a top mount and really liked it. Now I just carry my quiver in the cargo pocket on the leg of my hunting pants then hook to the tree once in my stand.
For some reason with the quiver on my leg it gives me a secure feeling that I know and can see where my arrows are.

On. You can change to some other broadhead or point if you need to for some reason with minimal movement.
I'm with you XB! I hunt mixed bag...all targets of opportunity are engaged
You never know what point/arrow will be needed.
So it is nice to have everything handy and ready...My stock Matrix quiver works really well..Just have to make suve the thumb bolt stays tight!. And it also comes right off if I need to while I'm on stand or over shooting sticks.

But I do try to leave my quiver ON...Arrows are just too important of a piece of equipment, for me to risk forgetting them somewhere.

You can never have too many arrows either!

On. It actually sits well on top of my shooting rest.

I have always used hip quivers with my compounds, and was using a hip quiver also with my older crossbows, and with my new suppressor 355 also. But I just purchased a M M quiver for my Micro S 355, so its a test in the making. I shot with it on yesterday, it's a little tuff because, I have always shot with both eyes open. I guess it's a Marine Corp thing, I'm seeing my quiver post in my view until I close my right eye and then its all good...PRACTICE,PRACTICE LOL

I used a hip quiver until I got the Exocet c/w a quiver. The quiver attachment bracket is attached to my day pack. I never liked the 'extra weight' or the 'off balance' feel of a quiver full of arrows hanging on my bow. KISS

I have always used a hip quiver so off.

I have one question ? It was stated by a couple that they like to be able to change heads while hunting. I always carry the same heads unless turkey hunting then I carry a bullhead and a couple regular heads in case a coyote gets close enough. I know that I can't confuse a bullhead with a regular head. However with different heads how can you be sure you won't grab the wrong one in the heat of the moment ?
