Sambar on St. Vincent’s Island.
Re: What would be your EXCALIBUR CROSSBOW DREAM HUNT
I have been as close as one could possibly be to a rutting bull and cow moose when I was in Idaho last year.
Mine would be moose and then black bear. Black bear being higher on the list just because of the expense. Unless I ever meet someone who lives up north I will never be able to afford a moose hunt.

LOL! It is one hell of a lot meaner than a "water buffalo"!BrotherRon wrote: ↑Thu Mar 22, 2018 11:04 pmThere is no way I'm gonna shoot one of them water buffalo with my crossbow!!
About all a crossbow would do is get him mad.
Better bring along an extra pair of shorts and a "Big" roll of toilet paper.
That is the Feared Cape Buffalo!
Twice as big, and ten times as ornery.
That is one of the few left on my list from Africa, and I still hope one day to remedy that.
With the Excalibur would simply be Icing on The Cake!!
I too have a rather strong hankering that way too...
Cheers,
Nog

Definitely Moose and have always wanted to shoot a brown bear but not sure I've got the stones to do it with a bow.
Re: What would be your EXCALIBUR CROSSBOW DREAM HUNT
Been thinking about it, for me now, its not about the game so much as the location. I think it would be awesome to sit up in BC or Alaska. Northern Quebec, or New Brunswick, Maine, Newfoundland.
But then, the Mountains in the virginias, rolling hills in the Carolinas, Florida turkey hunt, Florida Hogs. So hard to choose.
Its funny when you think of it, each of us on this forum lives in someone else's dream area! I think for me its more about the destination and what it offers.
I'm also the guy who has passed and passed on deer for the past two season only because it would end my season and I wouldn't be able to go out the rest of the year.

My first hunt with my Excalibur will be my demean hunt, northern Wisconsin black bear. Overall dream hunt is big horn. Not sure if it's possible with a cross bow or possible with my wallet size. But I will be graced with whatever God decides
