Post by janesy »

This guy is my hero, I'm definatly going to check this place out! Vegans. :eusa-violin:

Quote from article...
"In the middle of the protest, Ugar said the restaurant’s co-owner and chef, Michael Hunter, brought out a large deer leg and started carving it at a table directly in front of the window for about five or ten minutes"

So it's not cool to make large pieces of meat into small ones? :wtf: Are butchers/meat cutters bad people? Does meat grow in grocery stores? Are the protesters all inbred? :problem: I hope all of the protesters have been sterilized because we don't want to see this aberration continued into another generation.
If I ever go to downtown Toronto again, I know where I'm going to eat! :eusa-dance:

Thats from almost a week ago. I read a couple follow up articles and their protest is making them look so foolish that its certainly having the wrong effect.
Some reports say the restaurant is booked for 8 weeks out!

I love it! Incidentally, a number of years ago at B.C.'s largest annual indoor 3D shoot held at the Agriplex in Abbotsford, a group of protesters showed up. They were angry, belligerent and ready for a fight. With signs in hand they were going to save the animals and stop the barbaric savages from the butchery. When they were asked why foam animals needed saving they looked confused. They came in saw the 3D setup and quietly departed. I wish this would have been on the news.
The moral of these stories: 'Ignorance can be fixed but stupid is forever!' :eusa-naughty:

I read about this almost a week ago. The protesters were horrified he started butchering the deer leg inside the window. Then the cops showed up and the owner and the cops were sort of laughing it up. I wondered if the owner told them to come back for a meal? He went back to the spam then came back with his meal and ate it in front of them inside the glass. Super funny!
I am not they realize how small a percentage of the population actually agrees with their views. They don't even eat butter??? Butter makes almost everything better!
