Good luck to you Mike. I always thought the copperheads were pretty toxic.

Glad you’re doing well. Those are sneaky, beautifully colored snakes. Just won’t get out of the way.

The 2 most aggressive snakes we have in USA are the copperheads n the Foul very mean nasty cottonmouth moc's. Never got bit by a moc but i have had many dealin's wid them n brekin boat paddles killin them  Yup copperheads are nice colored/beauty but jus have a nasty attitude. So i usually give them an attitude adjustment.

Way to go with killin the rascal VM! You're right about the cottonmouth. We camp in an area near a creek and wetland sometimes. I'm always watching for 'em cause they are there.

Glad to hear you're OK. Back home in Arkansas the only one I worry about is cottonmouths. Most snakes will stay clear of you if given the chance but they cop an attitude.

Around here we have rattlesnakes and copperheads and they both scare me. We don't see many snakes, so you tend to forget there around until one pops up right in the middle your personal space.

Joe, it always amazes me how well snakes are camo’d. If they don’t move they are really hard to spot. Makes you wonder how many you walk past and never know it
