Got my first bear on my first hunt with the 350.
Want to thank vixenmaster for the string and normus for the slicktrick blades and everyone here for your help. He was small but I had a lesson in judging and this stand has been hard alot of experienced hunters in the past but it's a productive one.

The way I see it a smaller bear makes better table fare than a huge old bear. Good shot and recovery!

Congrats! I shot my first bear this year too and it was similar. Nothing to be ashamed about IMO.

Congratulations on your first bear. I'm always grateful and give thanks for any animal I kill. Anything less dishonors the animal. Enjoy your table fare.

Great Bear!
A touch of frost has heightened your awareness and your heart steadily beats in anticipation. Your senses are suddenly alert to the movement on the forest floor and you realize that the moment of truth is at hand.
