Broad head help

I have a Exocet 200 I got some 20 inch 307 grain bolts which broadhead would be better 100 gr or 125 gr? Why ? Thanks

Need to know FOC, front of center to really get a better idea of arrow construction. My knee jerk reaction would be the 125 grains because I like heavier front ends for accuracy in windy conditions.

Are the front inserts aluminum or brass? What broadhead?

Crossbow arrows require a high FOC. If you have brass inserts you can go as low as 100g. Aluminum inserts I would go 150g - 180g.

The nice thing about having brass inserts is that you can run standard sized broadheads and still have plenty of weight up front to give you sufficient FOC to have good arrow flight. This will give you a much wider selection of broadheads to choose from.

My recommendation would be a good mechanical or a good low profile fixed broadhead. I have had good luck with SlickTricks and NAP Spitfires. The NAP Spitfire has been my go to broadhead for 3-4 years now. I have always had a good blood trail with them.

Do you shoot the regular spitfire or the Maxx?

I shoot the Maxx and the regular spitfires out of my 350...I use a dental band on them for insurance and have never had an issue. I like the slick tricks but the spitfires give you a much better blood trail.

Yes, the fixed heads. 125 grains. Total weight with 17" Black Eagles, 408 grains. They match my field points out to 50 yards.

Regular Spitfire. No bands necessary.

Most premature balde deployment issues are self inflicted. Don’t play with the blades and you won’t have a problem.
