Many Thanks for all the Well Wishes Folks!!
They certainly are Appreciated!!

Although this ain't our first rodeo of this nature, it's been a bit of a scramble getting ready alright.
Just back from what I will always remember as The Shooting Session From Hell.
Ever witness a muzzle break do the Happy Dance out at 100 yards having just left your barrel??
Good news is she is shooting better than ever after all the BS of a new scope, new hotloads etc etc.

Boats test run in the past couple days.
The Dragon (aka Green Death) is topping out slightly better than 80 miles per hour.
It's sidekick is running close to 70.
Of course once we load them up, they'll be lucky to plane with all of our gear & us onboard!
Here's Hoping!!

Nothing quite like one of these adventures IMHO.
I NEED to get away from all the weird and wacked happenings in the world, to breath deep of that which succors, and to once again become kin with the places where I belong. This is far beyond a "want" at this time, and I am really REALLY Looking Forward to the next few weeks!
Time to let everything go but what matters in the moment!!

Just headed out to collect a few last minute items, pack the rig completely when back, and hit the rack early.
Hell of a loooooong run over the next couple.
But the Greeting when we get there will indeed make it all worth every single mile! :D

Hope to be posting of some interesting times upon our return, if not the odd success on the hunting front (or two...)

Cheers my Friends!!

Hard to gauge the level of zoom without a reference, but this appears to be a harvesters mushroom of perhaps the .30 caliber variety. They are normally found in the woods at the end of a successful hunt. Its hard to find one without a story (or photo) to share.

After three weeks on the mountains & rivers, I am completely bagged.
Made it back safe & sound thankfully.
Can't say the same for our boats though...

Was one of the best adventures I've been on in quite the spell.
Muchly needed time away from the petty annoyances of today's tribulations, and I am indeed much refreshed as a consequence.

It will take a day or two before I can get all the pictures downloaded and formulate a few words to accompany them.
I would suggest that for some, the wait might be worth it...

Soon...
