Ontario Bow hunting eve

Post by Carnivorous »

Yes my fellow Onatarioians tomorrow starts another season. A season we have been thinking about since Jan 01st! All the previous months of preparation will now be put to the test.

Thank God I'm a bow hunter and not a golfer.. Lol

Good luck if your fortunate enough to be hunting tomorrow!!

Some words from the master bow hunter himself.

"I have always tempered my killing with respect for the game pursued. I see the animal not only as a target, but as a living creature with more freedom than I will ever have. I take that life if I can, with regret as well as joy, and with the sure knowledge that nature’s way of fang and claw and starvation are a far crueler fate than I bestow.” – Fred Bear
A touch of frost has heightened your awareness and your heart steadily beats in anticipation. Your senses are suddenly alert to the movement on the forest floor and you realize that the moment of truth is at hand.

Tuesday for me. But I only have one spot that cleared enough for this time of year. After Halloween it starts to really open up so you can see.

Yes....It’s time to start the hunt for the harvest of the Whitetail Deer!👍🏻 The season in Delaware starts the first of September, but I don’t enjoy the heat of hunting in the higher temperatures as I once did!

Hey good hunting, enjoy, and be safe....for tomorrow I’ll be in the deer woods as much as possible!

We go out Canadian Thanksgiving weekend Oct 5-8.

A visit to my landowners yesterday to yak it up produced a positive forecast for the 18 Southern Ontario deer season. Farmers are reporting plenty of deer sightings and in addition, I was gifted permission on two new properties next to my prime hunting spots. The steep ravine sections always produce good deer and sore backs. LOL

Good luck everyone!

I'll come help you drag it out Norm. You just have to keep it cool for 5 hours while I get there lol.

Good luck!
