X Shocks flew off

Post by USAF Ret in Wis »

Wednesday, after our hunt, I let my buddy shoot it instead of decocking. It was 26 degrees, and the X Shocks flew off.

Any suggestions on where to buy new ones and how to keep that from happening again?

Thanks.

I finally cleaned my limbs with acetone then applied a small drop of insert glue (crazy glue) and reapplied the Ex-Shox. Let them sit 24 hours to dry. They haven’t moved since then! This was my third set that flew off the limbs even when applied per directions! Good luck!

I have a box of new ones from all the bows I bought. I don't see an advantage to sticking things on my limbs.. Lol

I have learned after years of shooting that anything that is on the working part of the limbs it slows the arrow down . and as far as noise go it won't make ay diff. to the deer. JMO

They DO help with stopping string slapping on the limbs of my older wide limb bows!
