Paracord Sling

Post by 8ptbuk »

After taking a NASTY fall in October I decided to build a sling that I liked and would use. I have tons of slings for all my rifles but just didn't like how they felt on My 380, Most of My rifle slings are too short when I put it across both shoulders which is where I want it crossing rivers or traveling up or down steep inclines, With it across both shoulders I have both hands ready to catch Myself if I fall. Here's what I came up with made out of 550 paracord. Extremely Heavy Duty and matches my 380 very well.

Very nice. Does it stretch a bit to absorb some of the bounce shock on the old collar bones?

Thank you, It does seem too. It sits really good on the shoulder while wearing a backpack which is very important to me. I hate to continually fight to keep my sling where it should be !

Thanks. I had to replace the sling clips with paracord as they were too noisy for walk and stalking. Plus the paracord allowed a little stretch to absorb the jolts. If you ever decide to sell them, shoot me a p.m. Regards,
Hank
