Deer hides

Post by hankenhunter »

Can any of my Canadian brethren tell me where in Canada (preferably in B.C) I can buy raw untanned deer hides. I have invented a new product ( :shh: ) and am in the market. I buy locally 20.00 a hide but hunting season is over and I am out of stock with orders backing up. Help please? Thanks,
Hank

:eusa-think: hmmmm.....my thought would be to contact the hunting/archery shops and put the word out. Maybe print out flyers to leave behind. Print out some cheap cards with your information. Heck, I'd give someone my 'going back to nature deer hide' for $20. Good luck Darryl.

Roads department? Tow truck drivers?

They used to call one guy around here and he'd come get them every time. He gone now tho, so who knows if they would do that

Around here you could offer a deer processor $5 per skin and they would probably jerk your arm off. They have to pay at the dump to discard them.
